Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment & Treatment aka COHAT
We perform Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment (COHAT) procedures in our fully equipped, modern dental suite. This thorough process includes:
- A full oral exam under anesthesia
- Digital dental X-rays to evaluate tooth roots and bone health
- Professional ultrasonic scaling (above and below the gumline) and polishing
- Extractions, if necessary, utilizing advanced dental instruments and nerve blocks
Every COHAT is done with your pet’s safety and comfort in mind. We use safe anesthetic protocols, individualized pain management, and continuous monitoring by skilled staff throughout the procedure. A team member will discuss your pet’s procedure and aftercare recommendations at their discharge appointment and your pet will go with a complimentary dental kit including before/after pictures.
